Our Purpose
We believe exceptional food begins with exceptional ingredients, traditional craftsmanship, and the care to do things properly.
That’s why we create fine foods in small batches, handcrafted using carefully selected ingredients and time-honoured methods. Every product is made with attention, passion, and respect for the craft, because we believe every bite should be a celebration of flavour.
Our philosophy is simple: honest ingredients, outstanding taste, and no unnecessary additives or unfamiliar ingredients – just real food made well.
We exist to elevate everyday indulgence, proving that convenience should never come at the expense of quality, flavour, or authenticity.
That same commitment to doing things properly extends beyond the food itself. We’ve chosen to be plastic free, using recyclable and compostable packaging made from renewable plant-based materials, because creating exceptional food also means caring for the future it belongs in.
Where it began
Dominique’s began during the Covid-19 pandemic, in a home kitchen and at a time when the world felt anything but certain.
What started as a small project between husband and wife quickly became a way of bringing something familiar and comforting to our local community. We baked in small batches and delivered to doorsteps, one order at a time. Before long, those doorstep deliveries had grown into pop-up shops, and eventually into a fully fledged bakery.
Alongside the sourdough and pastries, there was always another side to what we made – a collection of pantry favourites that quietly sat on the shelves and became weekly staples for so many of our customers.
They had always been part of our story, but perhaps they never received the attention they deserved.
So, we decided to change that.
Dominique’s was born to give these much-loved pantry products a name, a home and the recognition they had quietly earned over the years.
What started with just a couple of products has since developed into a wider range of handcrafted pantry favourites, still made in small batches with the same care, attention and quality that has been at the heart of everything we’ve done from the very beginning.
And we’re only just getting started. We’re excited for those who join us along the way as Dominique’s continues to evolve, with new ideas, new products and plenty more to share.
Made with the future in mind
For us, creating a brand in the world of today is about creating something that cares for the future it belongs to.
We believe that good things should be made thoughtfully. That means considering where our ingredients come from, how we make and package our products, the people we work alongside, and the impact of the choices we make along the way.
We choose materials with care, seek out responsible suppliers and continually look for ways to reduce waste and make better use of what we have. But sustainability, to us, goes beyond the environmental. It’s about building relationships that last, supporting the people and places around us, and creating a business with longevity at its heart.
There is always more we can do, and we’re constantly looking at how we can do things better. Because we believe that creating something worth having also means creating it with thought for what comes next.
